Ginger Kids Fun! offers several fun workshops for children and young adults.
“Rules, Tools & Etiquette” Kitchen and Cooking Basics: This class introduces children to the importance of kitchen safety, how to properly use different kitchen tools and equipment, and dining etiquette.
"Set the Table" - A Healthy cooking program: In light of the childhood obesity issues, Ginger Kids Fun! created a 10-part healthy lifestyles program that includes, healthy meal preparation, food journaling, the food pyramid, portion distortion and lots more! All classes incorporate preparing a healthy dish(es).
“Passport to the World” International Cooking Series: Children learn about other cultures, foods, language, music, geography and more, while preparing ethnic dishes from around the globe. Each class is dedicated to 1 – 3 different countries of regions of a country.
“Manners Really Do Matter” – Etiquette program: This program is dedicated to teaching children and young adults how to navigate a dining table, whether it be a formal or informal dining experience. Courteous communication, proper dress and other etiquette tips are addressed in the class.
All classes are 2 hours long and include “hand-out’s”, equipment, fresh ingredients and a fun, educational learning experience.
